Brandon A. Sanchez

Mr. Brandon A. Sanchez is a partner at Dapeer, Rosenblit & Litvak, LLP and has dedicated his legal practice exclusively to all aspects of code enforcement and nuisance abatement. He has prosecuted hundreds of administrative, civil, or criminal code enforcement cases, and he excels case management, compelling code compliance, and successfully resolving cases with compliance and cost recovery. Mr. Sanchez also excels at drafting regulatory and enforcement ordinances, including cannabis, short-term rental, massage, sidewalk vending, appeal procedures, nuisance abatement, administrative citation, and cost recovery ordinances, among others. 

Before recently returning to DRL, Mr. Sanchez worked for nearly six years at one of the nation’s most prominent public law firms where he served as Deputy Director of Municipal Code Enforcement. 

Mr. Sanchez has been a contributing editor to the last five editions of the California Municipal Law Handbook, helping draft the primary practice guide for municipal attorneys. He has also taught courses all over the State and published articles on various aspects of municipal law. Mr. Sanchez has also served on the League of California Cities' Cannabis Regulation Committee since 2019.
